147. Time limit for payment of fine
(1) Subject to subsection (2), the time fixed for the payment by instalments of a sum, as a fine or other pecuniary penalty, or for costs, shall, in
no case, exceed one month for every 10 rupees or fraction thereof.
(2) The maximum period for the payment of any sum above 110 rupees
shall be 12 months.
