35. Certificate of clerk is sufficient evidence
A certificate containing the substance and effect only (omitting the formal
part) of the information and trial for any crime or misdemeanour purporting to
be signed by the clerk of the Court or other officer having the custody of the
records of the Court where the information was tried shall, on the trial of an
information for perjury or subornation of perjury, be sufficient evidence of the
trial of the information for crime or misdemeanour, without proof of the signature or official character of the person appearing to have signed the certificate.
