69. Objection to information
(1) An objection to an information for a formal defect apparent on the
face shall be taken by demurrer or motion to quash the information before
the jury is sworn.
(2) The Court before which an objection is taken for a formal defect may,
if it thinks fit, cause the information to be forthwith amended in such particular by an officer of the Court or some other person, and the trial shall
then proceed as if no such defect had appeared.
