81. Unreversed acquittal
(1) An unreversed acquittal on a sufficient information before a Court of
competent jurisdiction shall be a bar to another prosecution for the same
offence.
(2) Subsection (1) shall extend to all cases where the accused might on the
first information have been convicted of the offence charged in the second
information, or of an offence included in that charged in the second information.
