25. Power to stay execution of wills (1) Where the Curator has reason to believe that a will in relation to any vacant succession is invalid or contains a provision infringing the rights of an [Issue 1] C60 – 8 Revised Laws of Mauritius absentee, the Curator may move the Supreme Court for a rule calling upon the executors of the will and all interested parties to show cause why the execution of the will should not be stayed, in whole or in part, for such time as may be reasonably necessary to enable the Curator to obtain appropriate instructions from the absentee. (2) The Court, on making an order under subsection (1), may authorise the taking of such measures as may be necessary to prevent loss or injury to any property.
