27. Power to purchase or borrow
(1) Where any property, a co-owner of which is represented by the Curator, is sold by licitation, the Curator may purchase the property for the benefit of the co-owner he represents.
(2) The Curator may borrow money and mortgage any immovable property comprised in a vacant estate vested in him as security for the loan to
that estate.
