18. Duty of importer, exporter or manufacturer
(1) Any person who imports, exports, manufactures, sells, distributes or
otherwise handles, in the course of a business activity, a dangerous chemical
shall ensure that—
(a) the dangerous chemical marketed in any form or quantity is provided with a safety data sheet free of charge when delivered to
a user;
(b) the information on the safety data sheet is compiled in accordance with the Eleventh Schedule.
(2) Every importer, exporter or manufacturer of a dangerous chemical
shall, when the dangerous chemical is imported, exported or manufactured,
as the case may be, for the first time, forward to the Board a copy of the
safety data sheet.
