27. Prohibited chemicals
(1) Every chemical substance specified in the Eighteenth Schedule shall
be a prohibited chemical.
(2) No person shall import, manufacture, use or possess a prohibited
chemical without the written authorisation of the Board.
(3) The Board shall not issue any authorisation referred to in subsection (2), unless a favourable recommendation from the Council has been
obtained.
(4) Notwithstanding any criminal prosecution that may be instituted under this Act, any prohibited chemical found in possession of a person in
breach of this section may be forfeited and destroyed by the Board.
