9. Enforcing Agencies Coordination Committee (1) There shall be for the purposes of this Act an Enforcing Agencies Coordination Committee which shall consist of— (a) the Registrar, who shall be the Chairperson; (b) an officer of each enforcing agency; and (c) such other officer of the Ministry as may be designated by the Permanent Secretary. (2) The Committee shall— (a) recommend to the Board such policies and administrative measures as are necessary to ensure prompt and effective consultation on matters relating to dangerous chemicals; (b) ensure that information on dangerous chemicals is shared and that there is prompt consultation, amongst the enforcing agencies; (c) ensure proper coordination amongst enforcing agencies in an investigation relating to dangerous chemicals carried out under this Act. (3) The Committee shall regulate its meetings and proceedings in such manner as it thinks fit. (4) The Committee shall meet at least once every month. (5) Every member of the Committee shall be paid such fees and allowances as the Minister may determine.
