59. Admissibility of certain evidence
Notwithstanding any other enactment, it shall be competent for any police officer who is or has recently been attached for duty to ADSU to give
evidence in any Court upon a prosecution for an offence under this Act as to
the street value in Mauritius of any dangerous drug and as to the demand
for, availability of and other circumstances pertaining to its sale and distribution and the Court may, if it thinks fit, act upon that evidence.
