35B. Registration of changes in particulars
(1) Where, following the granting of an application under section 34,
there is a change in any of the particulars referred to in section 35 or 35A,
the data controller or data processor, as the case may be, shall, within 14
days of the date of the change, notify the Commissioner in writing of the
nature and the date of the change.
(2) On receipt of a notification under subsection (1), the Commissioner,
on being satisfied that the change must be made, shall amend the appropriate entry in the register.
(3) Any data controller or data processor who fails to comply with subsection (1) shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a
fine not exceeding 50,000 rupees.
