18. Disciplinary measures following conviction
Where a registered person has been convicted of a criminal offence involving negligence, professional misconduct, fraud or other dishonesty in the
exercise of his calling, the Council may, after giving him an opportunity to
show cause in writing why disciplinary measures should not be taken against
him, take against him any of the measures specified in section 17 (4).
