117. Recognisance to appear as a witness In the case of a recognisance conditioned for the appearance of any person at any trial to give evidence or produce any documents, the Judge, on a certificate of the Registrar to the effect that such person has made default therein, may order, without any further process, the forfeiture of such recognisance, and issue execution for the recovery of the amount of such recognisance as if a judgment had been obtained against such person on the civil side of the Court.
