12. Officer may open doors and windows
(1) Any officer authorised by a warrant to arrest any party charged with
a crime or misdemeanour may open any door or window of a dwelling house
in order to execute such warrant, if after notification of his authority and
purpose and demand of admittance duly made, he cannot otherwise obtain
admittance.
(2) The officer shall show his warrant if required to do so.
