30. Warrant to search for stolen goods
(1) A Magistrate who has authority to issue his warrant of arrest on a
charge of larceny, may also, upon sufficient grounds for suspecting that
goods charged in any information as having been stolen are concealed or are
supposed to be concealed in any dwelling house or other premises, grant his
warrant to search for the same.
(2) (a) Such warrant shall be limited to a search in the daytime.
(b) In case of great emergency, and where the information is positive, and not on suspicion only, the warrant may be executed at any time.
