5. Interference with sample
(1) Any person who, without lawful authority, interferes with, contaminates or destroys a DNA sample, including a biological sample or a reference
sample, shall commit an offence.
(2) A police officer may use reasonable force to prevent a person from interfering, contaminating or destroying any sample referred to in subsection (1).
