9. Director
(1) There shall be a Director of the Authority who shall—
(a) be the chief executive officer of the Authority;
(b) possess appropriate qualifications, and have experience, in early
childhood care and education; and
(c) be appointed by the Minister.

(2) The Director shall be responsible to the Board for the attainment of
the corporate objectives of the Authority and for the control and management of the day-to-day business of the Board.
