12. Accounts
(1) An undertaker shall, on or before 25 March in every year, draw up an
annual statement of accounts of the undertaking made up to 31 December
of the preceding year, or such other date as may be approved in special circumstances by the Board, and the statement of accounts shall be in such
form and shall contain such particulars as may be prescribed.
(2) Where an undertaker fails to comply with subsection (1), the undertaker shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not
exceeding 40 rupees for each day the default continues.
