29. Systems and mode of supply
Subject to the permit—
(a) energy shall be supplied by the undertakers only by means of
some system approved in writing by the Board and subject to
regulations made under this Act;
(b) the undertakers shall not, without the express consent of the
Board, place any electric line above or below ground, except
within premises in the sole occupation or control of the undertakers and except so much of any service line as it necessarily
so placed for the purpose of supply, but the Board before giving
its consent shall give the authority, if any, an opportunity of being heard; and
(c) the undertakers shall not permit any part of any circuit to be
connected with earth except so far as may be necessary for
complying with regulations made under this Act, unless the connection is for the time being approved by the Board and is made
in accordance with the conditions, if any, of that approval.
