2. Interpretation
In this Act—
“designated person” means a person who belongs to such category of
persons as may be prescribed;
“employment exchange” means any office or place established under
this Act and used for the purpose of collecting and furnishing information,
either by the keeping of registers or otherwise, in respect of—
(a) employers who desire to engage work-people;
(b) work-people who seek employment or engagement;
“Employment Service” means the Employment Service established under section 3;
“Minister” means the Minister to whom responsibility for the subject of
employment is assigned;
“training course” includes a course of instruction or a course of
occupation.
