27. Effect of EIA licence
(1) No civil or criminal liability in respect of an undertaking or consequence resulting from an undertaking shall be incurred by Government, the
Minister, or any public officer, by reason of the approval of an EIA or the
grant of an EIA licence, or by reason of any conditions attached to an EIA
licence.
(2) The fact that an EIA licence is issued in respect of an undertaking
shall afford no defence to any civil action or to a prosecution under any enactment, other than section 15 (2), concerning that undertaking or the manner it is operated or managed.
