48. Industrial waste audit
(1) The Minister may make regulations to provide for pollution control by
means of an industrial waste audit.
(2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), such regulations
may, in respect of such activities as may be prescribed, provide for—
(a) an inventory of waste;
(b) the development and implementation of an environmental management plan;
(c) the appointment of officers for the preparation, implementation
and monitoring of an environmental management plan;
(d) different criteria and qualifications in respect of different industrial enterprises.
