69D. Registration of manufacturer, assembler or importer
(1) Every manufacturer, assembler or importer of
electrical and electronic equipment shall register with the
Director-General, in such form and manner as the DirectorGeneral may determine.
(2) The information submitted on registration under
subsection (1) shall be forwarded to the Director, Solid Waste
Management Division.
(3) Any manufacturer, assembler or importer who
fails to comply with subsection (1) shall be liable to pay to the
Director-General a penalty of 50,000 rupees.
