93. Protection from liability
(1) No civil or criminal liability shall attach to the Minister, the Director,
the Island Chief Executive, the Police de l’Environnement, or to any authorised officer in respect of any act done in good faith in the execution or purported execution of their duties or their powers under this Act.
(2) The Director and the authorised officers shall be public officers for
the purposes of the Public Officers’ Protection Act and the Criminal Code.
(3) Subsection (1) shall be in addition to and not in derogation from the
Public Officers’ Protection Act.
