14. Umpires and awarding officers
For the purposes of this Act—
(a) the Minister may appoint one or more umpires from among persons who hold or have held judicial office;
(b) the benefit authority may appoint officers, hereinafter referred to
as “awarding officers”, to act for such areas as the benefit authority may direct; and
(c) the benefit authority may pay such fees to the umpires as the
Minister may direct.
