7. Payment of allowances
(1) Subject to the directions of the benefit authority, allowances shall be
paid during the months in respect of which they are granted, on such dates
and at such places and subject to such conditions as the benefit authority
may direct and impose.
(2) Where payment of any sum by way of allowance has not been obtained within 6 months of the date on which it became payable, the right to
payment of that sum shall be extinguished, unless the benefit authority in its
absolute discretion decides otherwise in any particular case.
