10. Production of firearm and ammunition
(1) Upon the first issue of a firearm licence, the licensee shall, within—
(a) one month of the date on which the firearm licence is issued; or
(b) 7 days of the date on which the firearm and ammunition are
purchased,
whichever is earlier, produce to the Commissioner, or, in the case of Rodrigues, the Chief of Police, the firearm and any ammunition in his possession
in respect of which the firearm licence has been granted.

(2) Where a person to whom a firearm licence has been granted fails to
comply with subsection (1), the firearm licence shall lapse.
