11A. Production data
(1) For the purpose of research activities in
non-sugar agriculture, food production and forestry, a
designated employee may, at any reasonable time and with
the consent of the owner or occupier of a production unit,
enter the premises of the production unit to obtain production
data and any other data in connection with production.
(2) In this section –
“production unit” means a farm, a greenhouse,
a hydroponic centre, a livestock farm, including
a deer farm, a net house, an open field, a poultry
unit or such other production unit as the Institute
may determine.
(c) in section 20(2), by inserting, after paragraph (b), the
following new paragraph –
(ba) for the registration of farmers and agro
processors engaged, on a commercial
basis, in the production of food crops,
fruits, ornaments, cash crops, cattle, goat,
sheep, poultry, pig, rabbit and processed
agricultural products and such other
activity as the Institute may determine;
