9. Planting of reserves
Where a mountain or river reserve is—
(a) uncultivated;
(b) cultivated in such manner as to cause soil erosion; or
(c) unoccupied and the owner cannot be ascertained,
the authorised officer may cause the land to be planted or replanted in such
manner as he thinks fit.
