17. Competence of Tribunal
(1) The Tribunal shall have jurisdiction in cases of dispute relating to the
interpretation of this Act and in matters which, under the Patents, Industrial
Designs and Trademarks Act, are referred to it.
(2) Any decision taken by the Controller under this Act, in particular the
registration of a geographical indication, may be the subject of an appeal by
any interested party to the Tribunal.
