9. Membership
(1) Membership of the Sabha shall be open to all persons having an interest in the promotion of Hindi in Mauritius.
(2) Application for membership shall be made in such manner as may be
approved by the Committee.
(3) The Committee may grant or refuse any application for membership
made under subsection (2).
(4) Where the Committee rejects an application for membership of the
Sabha, the applicant may request that the decision be reviewed by the
Sabha at its next annual general meeting.
(5) Where a request is made under subsection (4), the Committee shall
refer the decision forthwith to the Sabha which may confirm, vary or quash
the decision of the Committee at its following general meeting in accordance
with such rules as may be made by the Committee.
