19. Jurisdiction
Notwithstanding section 114 of the Courts Act and section 72 of the District and Intermediate Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act, a Magistrate shall
have jurisdiction to try any offence under this Act or any subsidiary enactment

made under this Act, and inflict such penalty as is provided for under this Act
or any subsidiary enactment made under this Act.
