10A. Written undertakings by holders of permanent residence permits Any person to whom a permanent residence permit is issued shall, at the time of payment of the prescribed fee in relation thereof, submit to the immigration officer, or such other public officer as the Minister may authorise, a written undertaking to indemnify the Government for any expense or charge likely to be incurred for his maintenance, support or repatriation.
