Section 9F: Sharing of information

9F. Sharing of information (1) For facilitation purposes, the immigration officer shall, through an electronic system, share with another public sector agency such information as may be mutually agreed upon, in relation to— (a) a non-citizen, his name and address and date of arrival in, and date of departure from, Mauritius; and (b) a citizen of Mauritius, his name and address and date of departure from, and date of arrival in, Mauritius. (2) No public sector agency shall disclose any information obtained pursuant to subsection (1) to a third party. [S. 9F inserted by s. 23 (e) of Act 9 of 2015 w.e.f. 15 February 2016.]
