9H. Right to invest by professional and retired
non-citizen
(1) The holder of an occupation permit as
professional or the holder of a residence permit as a retired
non-citizen may invest in any business provided that –
(a) he is not employed in the business;
(b) he does not manage the business; and
(c) he does not derive any salary or
employment benefits from the business.
(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), a holder of
an occupation permit as professional may hold shares in
a business where he is employed provided that he is not a
majority shareholder.
