25. Suspension of licence
(1) Notwithstanding section 24, where the Authority is satisfied that—
(a) the licensee has failed to start his operation within 6 months of
the issue of the licence, or within such additional period as may
be allowed by the Authority;
(b) the licensee has ceased his operation under his licence;
(c) the licensee has given the Authority information which is false or
misleading in a material particular;
(d) the licensee has failed to comply with the code of conduct
specified in the Second Schedule; or
(e) it is in the public interest to do so,
it may suspend a licence.
(2) Any decision taken under subsection (1) shall—
(a) be notified in writing to the licensee; and
(b) have effect for not more than 21 days.
