Section 13: Functions of Internet Management Committee

13. Functions of Internet Management Committee (1) The functions of the Internet Management Committee shall be— (a) to advise the Authority on Internet and related policies; (b) to provide a forum for stakeholders to discuss issues relating to the administration of Internet; (c) to administer domain names in the context of the development of the information and communication industry; and (d) to make recommendations to the Board on any matter relating to Internet, including the administration and management of domain names. (2) The Committee may appoint such working groups as may be necessary in the discharge of its functions under the Act. (3) The Committee shall regulate its meetings and proceedings in such manner as it may determine. (S. 13 came into operation on 1 June 2002.)
