101. Tampering with evidence
Any person who—
(a) destroys, falsifies, conceals, or disposes of; or
(b) causes or permits the destruction, falsification, concealment or
disposal of,
any document, information stored on a computer or other device or other
thing, which the person knows, or ought reasonably to have known, to be
relevant to an inspection or investigation under this Part shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one million
rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years.
