61. Proof of claims
Where it appears to the liquidator in charge of liquidation proceedings in
respect of an insurer that by reason of the insufficiency of its documents or
any other circumstances, hardship would be caused if he requires strict proof
of debt, he may act on such evidence as he thinks appropriate and payment
of a debt made by the liquidator in good faith to any person as being the
person entitled to it shall discharge the liquidator from all liabilities in respect
of that debt.
