3. Temporal application
(1) This Act shall not apply to arbitration proceedings initiated before 1
January 2009.
(2) This Act shall apply to arbitration proceedings initiated on or after 1
January 2009 under an arbitration agreement, irrespective of the date on
which the arbitration agreement was entered into.
