18F. Examination by IPFTC
(1) On receipt of a notification under—
(a) section 18CA (4) (a); or
(b) section 5A (5) (a) of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority Act,
the IPFTC shall examine the reasons and may make such recommendation to
the relevant public sector agency as it may determine.
(2) A recommendation under subsection (1) may include a request to the
Managing Director to register an applicant or issue, on behalf of a public sector
agency, a relevant permit, licence, authorisation or clearance to an applicant.
(3) Where the Managing Director receives a request under subsection (2),
he shall register the applicant or issue the relevant permit, licence, authorisation or clearance to the applicant.
