4. The Board (1) The Board of Investment shall be administered and managed by a Board. (2) The Board shall consist of— (a) a Chairperson, to be appointed by the Prime Minister, after consultation with the Leader of the Opposition; and (b) not less than 6 and not more than 12 other members, to be appointed by the Prime Minister from representatives of the public sector, private sector, academia and trade unions. (3) Every member shall hold office for a period of 3 years on such terms and conditions as the Prime Minister may determine and shall be eligible for reappointment. (4) Every member shall be paid by the Board of Investment such fees as the Board may, with the approval of the Prime Minister, determine.
