Section 27: Expenses of maintenance of juveniles

27. Expenses of maintenance of juveniles The expenses incurred by the Commissioner of Police in respect of any place of remand or any place of detention provided under this Act, including the expenses of the maintenance of any juvenile detained in that place, whether detained on apprehension or committed to custody on remand or committed for trial or in lieu of imprisonment or in default of payment of a fine, damages or costs, shall be paid out of the Consolidated Fund.
