11. Chief Executive Officer
(1) There shall be a Chief Executive Officer, who shall be—
(a) a legally-qualified person with wide experience in legal research;
(b) appointed by the Commission on such terms and conditions as it
may determine.
(2) Under the direction of the Chairperson, the Chief Executive Officer
shall be responsible—
(a) for all research to be done by the Commission in the discharge
of its functions;
(b) for the drafting of all reports to be made by the Commission;

(c) generally, for the day-to-day supervision of the staff and work of
the Commission; and
(d) for such other duties as may be assigned to him by the
Commission.
(3) The Chief Executive Officer, unless otherwise directed by the Commission, shall attend every meeting of the Commission and may take part in
its deliberations, but shall not have the right to vote.
