12A. Giving false or misleading information
Any person who, for the purpose of, or in connection with an application
for legal assistance or for legal aid, wilfully gives any information which is
false or misleading, shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be
liable to a fine not exceeding 10,000 rupees or to penal servitude for a term
not exceeding 3 years.
