Section 68: Regulations

68. Regulations (1) The Minister may make such regulations as he thinks fit for the purposes of this Act. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), regulations made under subsection (1) may provide— (a) for the forms for the purposes of this Act, including the form of registers to be kept and the places at which the registers are to be kept; (b) for the taking of fees and levying of charges; (c) for the persons or classes of persons who shall be exempted from the payment of any fee or part thereof; (d) for the merger and consolidation of one or more limited liability partnerships with or into one or more other bodies corporate or unincorporate and the rights and obligations of persons when a merger or consolidation is made; (e) that any person who contravenes them shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 100,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year. 69. – 70. — [Issue 9] L15A1 – 36
