18. Conviction of registered person
Where a registered person who is not a public officer is convicted of an
offence involving negligence, professional misconduct, fraud or dishonesty in
the exercise of his calling, the Council may, after giving him an opportunity
to show cause in writing why disciplinary measures should not be taken
against him, inflict upon him any of the punishments specified in section 17 (4) (b).
