119. Publication and entry of certificate
(1) (a) Where a certificate is issued in respect of a ship under section 118, the owner of the ship shall, on receipt of that certificate, cause it
to be posted in some conspicuous place on board the ship and cause it to be
kept so posted and legible so long as the certificate remains in force and the
ship is in use.
(b) The master of the ship, before making any other entry in the official log book of the ship, shall enter in it particulars as to the positions of
the deck and the load lines which are specified in the certificate.
(2) Before a Mauritius ship leaves any dock, wharf, harbour or other
place for the purpose of proceeding to sea, the master of the ship shall
cause a notice to be posted in some conspicuous place on board the ship,
which shall be in such form and contain such particulars relating to the depth
to which the ship is for the time being loaded as may be prescribed and
cause those particulars to be entered in the official log book.

(3) Where a notice required by subsection (2) has been posted, the master of the ship shall cause it to be kept so posted and legible until the ship
arrives at some other dock, wharf, harbour or place.
