14. Mauritius ships
(1) Every Mauritius ship of not less than 24 metres in length shall be
registered under this Act.
(2) A ship shall be a Mauritius ship for the purposes of this Act, where it
is registered in Mauritius under this Part.
(3) Where a ship entitled to be registered in Mauritius is so registered,
the ship shall not be registered under the law of another jurisdiction except
pursuant to permission granted under section 56.
