65. Disputes on wages
(1) Any dispute relating to the amount payable to a seafarer employed
under a crew agreement may be submitted by the parties to the Superintendent of Shipping for decision but the Superintendent shall not be bound to
accept the submission or, if he has accepted it, to decide the dispute, where
he is of the opinion that the dispute, whether by reason of the amount involved or for any other reason, ought not to be decided by him.
(2) The decision of the Superintendent on a dispute submitted to him under this section shall be final.
